At DVS, we believe that a strong nursing team is the ‘back-bone’ of a successful practice. We encourage our nurses to take a high level of responsibility for case management, and strive to create a supportive environment where individual nurses are empowered to show initiative and perform to their very best.

Almost all of our nurses have been recruited from general practice. In many instances, these nurses were very senior in their practice, with years of nursing experience. We also have a number of nurses who have joined us after completing a degree in veterinary nursing.  All our nurses are qualified RCVS registered or listed nurses.

CPD EVENTS FOR NURSES

A series of CPD events for DVS nurses are also open to colleagues from other practices. All seminars will be held in the Lecture Theatre at Davies Veterinary Specialists and will start at 7pm unless otherwise stated.  Click here for more information.
