ABOUT SPECIALISTS

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons registers suitably qualified veterinary surgeons that have the necessary experience and who work currently in a particular discipline to be designated RCVS specialists.

This is the highest tier of qualification in the UK.

To maintain specialist status the individual has to apply for re-registration every 5 years.

Clinical service: Diagnostic Imaging


Sergio graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Technical University of Lisbon in 2003. After two years working in general practice, he did an internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists, followed by a three year residency in Radiology at the Royal Veterinary College. He joined the Radiology service at DVS in October 2009.
