Clinical service: Soft Tissue Surgery, Interventional Procedures
Ronan graduated from University College Dublin with honours and completed an internship in small animal surgery at the University Veterinary Hospital, UCD. He then worked in general small animal practice in Berkshire before returning to Dublin to complete a residency programme in small animal surgery.
Following a post as lecturer in small animal surgery, he moved from Dublin to Davies Veterinary Specialists. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. Ronan became Head of Soft Tissue Surgery at DVS in 2009 and, with Ian Battersby, has been instrumental in advancing the interventional radiology service at DVS. He was appointed a Director in March 2011.
